Speaking at Collab365 Global Conference in November

The Collab365 Global Conference is back this year, on November 1st/2nd, and I get to be a speaker once again! This year I’ll be delivering a developer-focused demo-heavy session about extending Microsoft Teams. See below the session details.

Extending Microsoft Teams

On November 2016, Microsoft launched Microsoft Teams, a chat-based workspace in Office 365 that positions itself as the collaboration hub for teams. But Teams is much more than just a chat tool. Its deep integration with other Office 365 tools and its extensibility features, make it a powerful collaboration platform. In this session we’ll focus on the multiple extensibility points of Microsoft Teams: tabs, bots, connectors, actionable messages, activity feed notifications and compose extensions. You’ll learn about each type of extension, what can be done and how they are built. We’ll also discuss publishing options.

You will learn:

  • What Microsoft Teams is
  • How can Microsoft Teams be extended
  • How to create a tab
  • How to create a bot
  • How to use connectors
  • How to use actionable messages and notifications
  • How to create compose extensions

If you’ve never heard of Collab365 Global Conference, it is a free virtual conference (meaning it happens online) focused on SharePoint, Office 365 and Azure, organized by Collaboris, that takes place on November 1st for 24 continuous hours. You can check the agenda on the conference website, as well as the speaker line-up where you’ll find well known speakers from all over the world. Don’t forget to register (it’s free!).
